Most people buying and/or selling a home are by now familiar with the website called Zillow.com. Zillow has a reputation of providing information about the value of homes. It's track record is spotty in terms of accurately predicting/estimating what a particular home's value is. This is borne out by their Zestimates versus the ultimate sales price of homes in markets around the country.

 

However, in spite of their shortcomings I do believe they present some valuable information that can give the discerning consumer an insight into a given market in terms of days on market, list to sales price, medium list price, medium sales prices, etc.
